Carolyn Hutchins

Carolyn is an emerging new artist. Born in Orlando in 1981, she has lived in Central Florida for most of her life. She loves nature and the outdoors, which is reflected in her work as a photographer.

In high school she studied the art of Black and White film photography and darkroom developing techniques, but since then she has began using and learning about and using the new technology of digital cameras. But most of what she knows about photography has been completely self-taught, by trying new and different things to see what works and what doesn’t.

She now works full-time as a photographer at Gatorland, a local theme park in Central Florida, and when she is not working, she is taking pictures of everything from friends and family to all things in nature. She believes in trying to capture the simple beauty of the world so that it may be shared with anyone who wishes to view it.
