Gary Lukash Gary grew up in the eastern suburbs of Cleveland Ohio and now resides in Kissimmee Florida. Gary first discovered transparent watercolor in high school and fell in love with the medium. Having never taken his painting seriously, in the winter of 2007 he decided to change that, and took a painting class at the Maitland Art Center with instructor Glen Ward. Glen instilled confidence in Gary's ability, giving him the confidence he needed to paint. In Downtown Kissimmee, Gary discovered Gallery One Artists, where he took a class with instructor Maria Barry. Within a year, he joined the gallery as a member. Gary's favorite subjects are landscapes and still life. He and manages to make the ordinary a little extraordinary. He credits Glen Ward and Maria Barry for encouraging him to continue, a 'push' he felt he needed. We hope you enjoy his work.
