-         Studied oil painting under Frick Winsalo in Plymouth, N.C for 4 years in High School

-         Continued studying oils under Augusta Olschig, a famous artist and teacher in Savannah, Ga. For I summer

-         Studied watercolors in St. Augustine, Fl. Under Thomas Pearrow for 2 years

-         Studied Architecture at Georgia Tech for 2 years, transferred to Southern Tech. where I received an Associate Degree in Architectural Engineering

-         I was in the building industry for 25 years and was an Arch. Designer with my own company designing custom homes in Hilton Head, SC for 11 years

-         Because of my Arch background my paintings tend to be very tight and precise, more like a photo realist

-         Now that I am retired, I am able to spend more time as an artist.  Hopefully for the next 20 years or so, I plan to develop my artistic talent to the fullest.

-         I have recently joined “Gallery One”, the largest art gallery in Osceola, Co, Fl, where some of my latest pieces will be displayed for the first time starting December 1, 2009
